Prior to beginning work on this assignment, review Chapter 2: Web Design (Desktop and Mobile), paying close attention to the section on “Landing Page Optimization”. Then, watch 7 Principles of Conversion-Centered Design with Oli Gardner of Unbounce (https://youtu.be/w87hTii1Dao) video, which can also be found in Chapter 2 of your textbook.
As you can see, the landing page plays a critical role in whether the user believes he or she has found what he or she searched for on the web. For this assignment, you will create your own landing page.
To begin, open your text in Stukent by clicking on the “Go to Digital Marketing Essentials Textbook” button. Under Chapter 2 in the left navigation menu, locate the Assignments tab. Select the Download Now button on the Landing Page Optimization Assignment with Wishpond and read the instructions in the following sections:
Background
Your Job
Getting Started
Once you have read the instructions, you will create your own landing page within the Student version of Wishpond available at http://www.wishpond.com/w/stukent (Links to an external site.).
To submit your landing page,
Click the “Publish” button in the top right corner. This will give you a link to your landing page.
Copy the link to your landing page and paste it into a Word document.
Write one to two pages addressing the following:
Explain how your design will increase the average daily sales of GoPro Hero 4’s, noting the specific elements of positioning, wording, colors, and “wow” factors.
Submit the Word document to the Waypoint classroom assignment basket.

Must include a link to the completed landing page.
Must include one to two double-spaced pages of explanation (not including title and references pages) and formatted according to APA Style (Links to an external site.) as outlined in the Writing Center’s APA Formatting for Microsoft Word (Links to an external site.) resource.
Must include a separate title page with the following:
Title of project in bold font
Space should appear between the title and the rest of the information on the title page.
Student’s name
Name of institution (The University of Arizona Global Campus)
Course name and number
Instructor’s name
Due date
Must use the course text for support.
Must document any information used from sources in APA Style as outlined in the Writing Center’s APA: Citing Within Your Paper (Links to an external site.) guide.
Must include a separate references page that is formatted according to APA Style as outlined in the Writing Center. See the APA: Formatting Your References List (Links to an external site.) resource in the Writing Center for specifications.
